By designing the Trio11 Be, Focal wanted both more power and less noise. And Focal succeeded.
In addition to new speakers (a 5" midrange and a 10" subwoofer), the speaker benefits from the latest
brand technologies in acoustics and electronics. TMD technology (on the suspension
of the midrange speaker) for more control and less distortion; NIC technology for a stabilized magnetic field; optimized vents
which promote dynamic control and perfect bass definition; high excursion for ever greater speaker linearity...: thanks to these technologies, Focal has been able to combine powerful amplifiers with speakers that are highly efficient and durable, while guaranteeing the absence of noise, the reproduction of micro-details and the precision of the stereo image.

Like Trio6 Be, Trio11 Be consists of a 3-way and a 2-way monitor, which offers the possibility to check the quality of the mix transfer thanks to the FOCUS mode - a Focal innovation -, which can be controlled remotely and used by simply pressing a footswitch. Thanks to the class G amplification used on the midrange and the subwoofer, Trio11 Be delivers a high SPL (Sound Pressure Level) of 118 dB.

Versatile and powerful, this monitor perfectly meets the needs of modern music and the most demanding sound engineers, offering them an extended bandwidth (30 Hz-40 kHz).

Signature Focal, the pure Beryllium inverted dome tweeter naturally found its place on Trio11 Be, offering a perfectly linear frequency response and a detailed transcription of the treble. Indeed, its exclusive profile guarantees an optimal transfer of energy from the dome coil to obtain a high efficiency tweeter (it is capable of covering 5 octaves from 1000 to 40,000 Hz) while promising a wide sound dispersion.
The "W" diaphragm of the 10" subwoofer allows a real optimization of the frequency response thanks to a precise control of rigidity, lightness and damping. The balance between these three fundamental parameters is the basis of the speaker's exceptional sonic neutrality.

The aluminium plate with integrated tweeter and woofer can be rotated 360° in 90° steps, so that Trio11 Be can be used vertically or horizontally. This feature allows the performance of the monitor to be optimized according to its positioning in the room and the acoustics of the room.
Finally, the body, developed and manufactured by Focal in its cabinet making workshop located in Bourbon-Lancy, consists of two sides and a body in MDF measuring between 21 and 30 mm thick: a guarantee of quality in the choice of each material, combined with attention to the finishes. two cheeks covered with a dark red natural ash burr veneer and a central black body, for a rendering that is as aesthetic as it is discreet and resistant.
