The CORDOBA Iberia C5-CET (CO015) electro-acoustic guitar - CET for Curtaway Electro Thinline - comes from the renowned Iberia range. It is a 4/4 electro classical guitar with cutaway, equipped with a solid Canadian Cedar top, a laminated Mahogany body and a Mahogany neck / Rosewood fingerboard with bone saddles.
It is a functional version of the C5 thanks to its notch facilitating access to high notes and its Fishman Isys+ pre-amp.
The C5-CET has a thinner body than the C5-CE (65 - 70 mm compared to 95 - 100 mm) making the instrument easier to hold. It will be less invasive and therefore easier to transport. Its low frequencies are also less prominent, but this will not feel amplified, the electronics can compensate for this deficiency. It is therefore, among other things, an ideal guitar for the stage.
Handcrafted in the Spanish tradition, it represents a very good investment for beginner to experienced guitarists. It is very well finished, with components of very honorable quality. Note that the neck is equipped with a truss rod, which is not the case with all classical guitars.
