I have this Bass VI for about one week now and played it everyday day since I got it.

It plays really well and the setup and intonation is perfect which I was not expecting. The tremelo works well enough even though it is not of the highest quality. The first few days the bass went just a little out of tune when using the tremolo, but now it is better. It is really easy to play as the action is fairly low and the neck is comfortable.

I would personally describe the finish as "champagne sparkle", it is not purely silver, there are some yellow/goldish hues in the finish which makes it absolutely beautiful. I was looking for a bass VI for some months but I'm happy I waited for this FSR.

In short, fantastic instrument, creativity booster, really fun to mess around with and very usable "out the box". I'm not planning any modifications so far.

My plastic volume knob was a little damaged in shipping but the Star's music crew got back to me and gave me a small refund for this inconvenience. Thank you for the great costumer service!

J'ai été très heureux de la réédition de cette guitare, à la base Fender, du début des années 60, c'est une guitare très particulière, qui se situe entre une bass et une guitare lead. Je l'ai achetée sur un coup de foudre chez Star's Music à Lille, et elle à été réglée sur place, bien que d'origine elle était presque ok. De plus c'est une Squier, donc très abordable niveau prix, et pourtant elle est de bonne qualité

Une basse très exclusive, mais tellement indispensable !
Beaucoup plus polyvalente qu'on pourrait le croire, mais remet en question la manière de jouer de la basse !
Elle demande un temps d'adaptation assez conséquent...
Un son d'enfer, des possibilité presque inépuisables.
Finitions acceptables, par contre le réglage d'usine est médiocre, cela nécessite de revoir tous les réglages, notamment pour les cordes MI qui ne sont pas à leur place !!!
Pour résumer, après quelques heures de mise au point, elle est adorable ! Et finalement, abordable !!!
