Comfortable and functional, the IBANEZ AE Series AE170 NTR is an intermediate-sized acoustic/electric guitar that provides maximum playing comfort and generous tone.
AE170 features solid Sitka Spruce top, layered Okoume back & sides, torrefied Ovangkol fretboard and Ibanez preamp with onboard tuner.
The AE Series' slender, single-cutaway bodies deliver powerful and balanced acoustic sound, unplugged or through an amp or PA system. These guitars combine easy playability and mahogany bodies with spruce tops to create a quality, workhorse acoustic guitar that will rise to any occasion.
Through intensive research and development, Ibanez has designed the A.I.R.port with a unique internal structure that reflects sound waves and guides them to exit from a precisely positioned sound hole. As a result, players can monitor what they are playing more clearly, which enhances the overall playing experience.
High quality Ibanez T-bar II Undersaddle pickup and Ibanez preamp with onboard tuners provide the sparkling tones that sound great in any venue.
