TheYamaha PSR-E283 keyboard offers authentic and diverse sounds, totaling 410 options, including grand pianos, guitars, basses, drums, and entertaining sound effects. A range of 150 automatic accompaniment styles, covering a wide range of musical genres, is available.

To facilitate learning, educational features such as engaging lessons and a playful quiz mode are integrated. The Smart Chord function simplifies chord creation with a single finger, making it ideal for beginners. Additionally, the Duo mode allows two people to play simultaneously on the same instrument.

The user-friendly interface simplifies the selection of sounds, styles, and functions without complications. A recording function allows performances to be immortalized for later self-evaluation.

The keyboard comes with practical accessories such as a songbook, music stand, and power adapter. Operating on batteries (6 AA batteries), it provides maximum portability. This version includes improvements compared to previous models, notably the Smart Chord function.
