With the FGDP, you have the freedom to assign voices to pads according to your creative vision, but at Yamaha, we recommend the 3-finger style. Harness the power of your thumb for the bass drum, trust your middle finger for precise hi-hat control, and let your dexter index finger bring delicate nuances and complex snare drum phrases to life.
The "home" position lets you effortlessly execute fundamental rhythms, such as eighth notes, with just one hand. You can use your other hand to play the other symmetrical pads to trigger captivating sixteenth-note or double-kick rhythms.
