Beschrijving
The Schoeps CMC6 +MK4 mono set is a package with a SCHOEPS CMC 6 microphone amplifier and 1x MK 4 capsule.
The CMC 6 U is designed for standard 48 and 12 volt phantom power. Its circuitry recognizes the supply voltage and adjusts itself automatically. Its performance characteristics remain essentially the same in both cases; the main difference is that the current draw at 12 volts is greater than at 48 volts. However, the 12-volt mode consumes less power and might be preferred for battery recording.
The MK 4 is often preferred by opera singers and other skilled singers.
But its natural and transparent character is also very suitable for pop and rock applications, on stage or in the studio, where equalization is part of the program.
A microphone with a clear, neutral sound quality is the ideal starting point when special "colouring" is required.n
