The Pioneer CDJ900 NX is a CD&MP3 player.


The evolution of Pioneer's NEXUS range continues with the arrival of the CDJ-900NXS digital player. The CDJ-900NXS builds on the success of its predecessor, the CDJ-900, and goes one step further with a range of new features such as a colour LCD screen, Beat Divide, four-track Beat Sync and the ability to play songs from a smartphone.

The CDJ-900NXS comes with Pioneer's rekordboxTM music management software for PC/Mac and free download access to the rekordbox app for smartphones and tablets. DJs can then prepare amazing sets and playlists on any device and upload them to the CDJ-900NXS via USB or Wi-Fii - so they always have their music library at hand, wherever they are. The Pro DJ Link also allows DJs to share one source with up to four tracks via LAN cable.

The CDJ-900NXS features Pioneer's highest resolution display, which provides DJs with an instant overview of the Wave display and Zoom Wave as well as the ability to view and edit rekordbox beatgrids. Like the top-of-the-line CDJ-2000NXS, the CDJ-900NXS offers even more intuitive navigation with the option to view tracks by list, cover art or custom criteria. In addition, mix tools such as Beat Countdown and Phase Meter can be preset in rekordbox for greater visual control during performance.

The old Auto Beat Loop function has been replaced by Beat Divide and Slip Loop: two new features that make it easy to make important rhythm changes and micro-corrections, and ensure that your breakdowns and drops always happen at the perfect time.
With Beat Divide, DJs can use the familiar buttons to divide each beat according to the selected timing and loop the first portion to give a staccato effect that changes with each beat and bar. Slip Mode transforms these same controls and you can then control a Slip Loop effect for even more creative expression. And all of this is in addition to the looping features inherited from the CDJ-2000NXS: Loop, Loop Cutter, Loop Edit and Active Loop.
