Manley ABSOLUTE HEADPHONE AMPLIFIER

Manley Labs is proud to announce the release of the ABSOLUTE headphone amplifier.
With over three years in development, Manley has drawn on its 30 years of experience, conceptualizing and developing every element present in this preamplifier.
Oh, and by the way, it's also a line level preamp!
The MANLEY Absolute is equipped with two pairs of selectable stereo RCA jacks to receive the input signals. These RCA sockets are of our own design, insulated in Teflon® and gold-plated, and we have been producing them since the mid-1990s.

The volume is controlled on the dashboard by the front dial, and by the included remote control, both of which operate a precision notched attenuator operating at half dB.

Next to the front volume control knob, you'll also find a MUTE button.

There's also a user-adjustable overload protection system that declares a maximum output level to protect your headphones and your ears!

The MANLEY Absolute also comes with a switch for MONO listening.
There is also the ability to switch between 3 output impedances to accommodate headphones ranging from 12 to 600 Ohms or more.
You can choose between the three outputs present:
-¼" TRS headphone output
High-end XLR 4-pin stereo output for balanced headphones
-Stereo RCA output (for use as a line level preamp in a HiFi system)

The ABSOLUTE amplifier incorporates our own innovative, purpose-built switch-mode power supply. All of our ultra-low impedance power rails are fully regulated, and are quieter than any linear power supply we've tested.
Manley uses the 6AQ5 or EL90 tube in the output stage of the ABSOLUTE amplifier.
The lamp is configured as a triode because of the low power requirements of the headphones. This lamp is readily available from well-known manufacturers. For ease of use the lamps do not require biasing.

Just plug them in and forget about them!
